Hi there! I’m Olivia. I love to read, cook, craft, and, of course, eat;)) I especially have a passion for healthy food, and like to experiment and come up with new versions of classic dishes!
I started MyDayIsBooked as a book-review site a few years ago, but as I discovered cooking and starting eating more cleanly, it has grown into so much more.
When I first tried “eating healthy”, it consisted of me packing a spinach salad for lunch everyday and hating it. I think that’s where lots of us are at today- or at least that’s what we think eating well has to look like. I’m here to tell you that that is FALSE! There is so much variety and deliciousness that exists within healthy food! The more that I experimented with new recipes, the more I found that I love the way that eating whole and healthy foods makes me feel, and how delicious it is. I want to share it with you guys while destroying the idea that healthy food is boring! Hopefully I can inspire you to hop in the kitchen and see for yourself.
I post mainly plant-based recipes, even though I’m not a vegan or vegetarian. To be honest, I never really tried cooking meat, and also beans are delicious;) I really like fish though, so I’d like to try making it sometime! My favourite foods are sushi, sweet potatoes, and peanut butter.
While my main goal is to spread the healthy-food love, I’m also passionate about bullet journaling, working out, and reading, so I’ll share some of that stuff with you guys too- if not on here than on my Instagram account @mydayisbooked_blog. Being healthy isn’t all about eating and exercising, and having a creative outlet and something to stimulate your mind is important as well!
