12 Days of Awesome Ways to Be Healthier- Days 6 and 7

Hi peoples! I’m super sorry that I couldn’t post yesterday!! I had volleyball practice and was busy making quinoa for my lunch today- I’m going to share the recipe with you soon:). Anyways, today I’ll combine posts so you don’t miss any tips. Here you go!

Put Fruit In Your Water.

This goes along with drinking more water. Putting fruit in your water is a good way to get more vitamins in your body throughout today. Also, it tastes better!!! And when it tastes better, you drink more. Berries, citrus, apples and mint are all good things to throw in your H2O.

Get More Sleep.

Sleep is so important!!! In order to function, we need a good amount of rest each night. I definitely notice that when I don’t get at least a solid 9hrs of sleep, I get grumpy and feel a bit out of it all day. Sleepfoundation.org suggests that teens need about 8-10 hours of sleep a night. Are you getting that amount? Getting more sleep will help you to do better in school, sports, and your life in general.
