Hey there!! I’m so excited about this month’s theme, and I know I kept you guys guessing what it was on Instagram- it’s roses! For February I used pale pink and green to create a simple rose theme that I think is really pretty😍😍 I especially love the way that the title page looks. This month I reverted back to doing a lot of calligraphy (I just can’t stay away), and am also using my white gel pen to do accents on the black writing. The rose style that I chose to use is EXTREMELY easy to draw, and I’ll be posting a tutorial on my Instagram story so be sure to check that out;)
This year, I’ve decided to do something a bit different with my Monthly Recap/memories/reflection sections by combining them all into a collage. I like this idea a lot because it’s less structured and way more fun to make! I haven’t had a chance to finish this spread yet, so I’ll post it next week on my social media;) Hope you like my spreads for February!
First off, here’s my title page. I did a wreath around the word “February”, and did a cute rose border around the outside of the page, as well as surrounding the quote on the opposite page. I like be the simplicity of this spread, and the white accents in the calligraphy really make it pop. My quote this month is “Stop and Smell the Roses”, because I think that it’s important to slow down and enjoy the little things;))
I continued with the use of flower wreaths and borders when doing my calendar spread for this month;) I included a goals and focus section again to help with productivity, and I did a drop shadow on my calendar which I haven’t done in a while. This spread is also fairly minimal.
I switched up my habit tracker yet again! This is a popular layout that I’ve seen all over different bullet journaling accounts, and so I thought I’d give it a try. It’s more of a calendar layout, and so each day I’ll fill in the box that corresponds to that day on the calendar if I completed that habit. It’s confusing. On the opposite page I drew out a rose for each day, and I’ll colour them in accordingly the legend on the bottom to track my mood.
The last spreads before my first weekly spread are my gratitude log and blog planner;) I used more wreaths and roses, and also switched up the layout of my planner to see if it works better this way.
Lastly, here’s my first weekly spread of the month! This is a layout that I’ve used quite a few times in the past and it works really well for me. I was also able to include a quote and to-do section for this week;)
That’s all for my February Set-Up! I made sure that I posted it early this time so you guys can use it as inspiration for your bullet journals. Have a great weekend!!
